This role involves operating and maintaining complex tactical communication systems, including airborne and terrestrial systems, for sustained operations and exercises. Responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting hardware/software and network issues, system administration, and managing COMSEC. The role requires extensive travel to classified/hazardous duty locations and a Secret security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support operations and maintenance of a complex airborne and terrestrial tactical communication system providing voice and data services in real world operations.
  2. Support flight line by performing preflight system tests and configuring payloads.
  3. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
  4. Troubleshoot Hardware/Software issues.
  5. Perform system and computer maintenance.

Skills

Required

  • 5 years with Bachelor’s degree or 9 years relevant experience
  • Experience with operating military radios or communications systems
  • Linux system administration and troubleshooting
  • Willing and able to travel up to 75%
  • US Citizenship
  • current/active Secret security clearance

  • Link-16, SADL, and JREAP-C
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II or greater (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, Linux +)
