Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Flight Avionics Electronics Engineer to support the development and integration of aircraft flight deck systems. Responsibilities include engineering support for systems like IFF, TCAS, and PFDs, developing system safety documents, creating schematics, managing requirements, supporting supplier designs and testing, and resolving flight test anomalies. The role requires a STEM degree, experience with Cameo/Doors, and a Top Secret clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide Avionics Integration engineering support for the integration of aircraft flight deck systems and components including Identification, Friend or Foe (IFF), Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS), Radio Altimeter, Primary Flight Displays (PFDs), Terrain Avoidance and Warning Systems (TAWS), and other various avionics systems
  2. Provide support for the development of system safety documents
  3. Create aircraft system schematics to support air vehicle wiring diagrams
  4. Development and analysis of requirements and supporting trade studies
  5. Manage suppliers, review and analysis of supplier design data, definition of functional test requirements including acceptance, qualification, and system integration, and support test execution
