This role involves administering and maintaining enterprise-level geospatial databases, performing analyses on these databases to support design activities and technical studies, and configuring cloud services for GIS infrastructure. What you'd actually do

  1. Compile a variety of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Building Information Model (BIM) data sources to develop and maintain a complex geospatial database.
  2. Develop/maintain enterprise geodatabases utilizing ESRI ArcSDE and Microsoft SQL Server.
  3. Experience with automation or scripting (Python, SQL, PowerShell, or shell scripting).
  4. Perform analyses on this database to support design activities and technical studies.
  5. Responsible for collecting geospatial data and utilizing the outputs of the geospatial analysis.

Skills

Required

  • B.S. in GIS, Geography, Civil Engineering or related field
  • 5 years’ experience (Principal) or 8 years’ experience (Sr. Principal)
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Programs (SAP) clearance
  • Five years of progressive GIS server experience
  • Knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS and Mapping Tool Suite: ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Monitor
  • Knowledge of administration and testing of Enterprise GIS and Database Projects
  • Demonstrated communication skills

  • Experience with Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, Power Point, and Engineering Scheduling tools and applications
  • Ability to use the Internet as an information gathering and communications tool

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance with the most recent investigation completed in the last 6 years
