Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst 3 to develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. This role involves studying and implementing federal security regulations, obtaining rulings for compliance, preparing manuals, and investigating security violations. The analyst will be responsible for maintaining compliance with applicable security regulations and leading the security program for various Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
  2. Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
  3. Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
  4. Prepare manuals outlining regulations, and establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
  5. Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of Industrial Security experience or relevant experience with bachelors' Degree or 3+ with MS Degree of Industrial Security or relevant experience; an additional 4 years of applicable experience may be substituted for a bachelor's Degree.
  • Current Active Top Secret clearance.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of: NISPOM, DISS, and/or SIMS.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, TEAMs).

Nice to have

  • Experience working on DoD and IC SCI programs
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI
  • Current counterintelligence scoped polygraph
  • Experience as a Data Transfer Agent for control of media (training is provided)
  • Experience building/accrediting SCIFs using ICD705 Tech Specs and TEMPEST standards
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) or other DoD/Industry professional certification
  • Experience with customer high side networks ( CWAN, TIMMS, etc.)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow projects through to completion
  • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, excellent communication skills speaking, writing skills and organized skills enabling effective communications
