As a Principal Product Manager (IC4) for Consumer Services and Financial Services, you will operate as a senior individual contributor responsible for defining industry product strategy, market direction, and business impact for NetSuite ERP across these industries. This role owns industry-level product vision and strategic outcomes, operating with significant autonomy and influence across Product, Engineering, GTM, and Executive stakeholders.
The position requires deep domain expertise across Consumer Services (including Real Estate and Property Management) and Financial Services (including Private Equity, Venture Capital, Lending, Loan Management, and Insurance). Success is measured by ARR growth, competitive differentiation, industry adoption, and industry positioning.
Required Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
10+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, or industry solution leadership.
Deep domain expertise in one or more of the following:
- Private Equity / Venture Capital
- Lending / Loan Management
- Insurance operations
- Real Estate / Property Management
Strong ERP background; NetSuite experience preferred.
Proven ability to define and scale industry enterprise software solutions.
Demonstrated impact on revenue growth and industry expansion.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder influence skills.
Comfortable operating in ambiguous, AI-first environments.
Preferred (but Not Essential)
- Experience working with Financial Services or PE-backed portfolio companies.
- Exposure to regulatory environments (SEC, GAAP, IFRS).
- Experience with AI-enabled enterprise platforms.
- MBA or equivalent business education.
Industry Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and own the industry product strategy and roadmap direction for Consumer Services and Financial Services.
- Identify structural industry gaps and competitive threats; translate insights into strategic product priorities.
- Establish NetSuite’s point of view on AI-enabled ERP for service-driven and capital-driven business models.
Industry Leadership & Domain Expertise
Serve as the recognized internal subject-matter expert for:
- Private Equity & Venture Capital (fund accounting, capital calls, distributions, waterfall models, investor reporting)
- Lending & Loan Management (loan origination, servicing, interest models, covenant tracking, collections)
- Insurance (premium billing, claims accounting, reserves, regulatory reporting)
- Real Estate & Property Management (lease accounting, property-level P&L, rental revenue models, multi-entity structures)
Engage directly with customers, partners, and industry leaders to validate strategy and guide roadmap direction.
Influence analyst positioning and executive-level messaging.
AI-First ERP Direction
- Define industry-specific AI use cases across portfolio analytics, lease forecasting, risk monitoring, revenue optimization, and regulatory automation.
- Partner with platform and AI teams to ensure industry priorities drive investment decisions.
Growth & Business Impact
- Drive outcomes across industry ARR growth, pipeline influence, win rates, and expansion.
- Inform packaging, positioning, and monetization strategy for targeted subsegments.
- Provide strategic clarity that enables GTM teams to compete and win.
Cross-Functional Influence
- Lead through influence across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
- Operate independently with limited guidance, consistent with IC4 expectations.
