Project Manager for the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program, supporting missile defense systems. The role involves managing technical scope, schedule, and cost for engineering changes, overseeing cross-functional teams, and coordinating project execution within an Agile framework. Requires a Top Secret security clearance and experience in project planning, EVMS, systems engineering, and software development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Will support planning and execution of technical scope, schedule, and cost inputs for changes, ECPs, and other customer engineering estimate requests
  2. Will support the development of TO60 IMS objective evidence, the collection of IMS status accounting, and cross-spiral de-confliction, cross-functional area coordination, and schedule/resource issue resolution
  3. Wide application of principles, theories, and concepts in their field, and provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems with imaginative and thorough solutions
  4. Works under general direction, and results are reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives; failure to achieve results normally results in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources
  5. Frequent internal and external customer contacts and represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Project Management, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience
  • current, active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance
  • Experience with project planning, cost, schedule & performance
  • Previous experience with development programs and deployment execution activities
  • Proven leadership abilities to manage, coordinate, and oversee cross-functional area efforts associated with both the Sustainment and Development lifecycle management
  • Planning, scheduling, project management, and EVMS
  • Systems Engineering, Software Development, and Deployment
  • Experienced in developing and managing project teams and schedules
  • Experience in the Development Lifecycle and knowledge of spiral development processes

Nice to have

  • IAT or relevant certifications
