Project Manager for Northrop Grumman's Strategic C3 Systems portfolio within the Aeronautics Systems Sector IT Program Management Office. Requires a Secret security clearance and experience in project management, scheduling, risk management, and Earned Value Management. The role focuses on IT infrastructure projects within a defense context.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Project Management to both Program Managers and their customers and teams
  2. Act as the customer liaison between sector customers and project/program leadership
  3. Manage all scheduling, change management, risk management, and cost management requirements for assigned project(s)
  4. Own any optimization, or other remediation work assigned by the program manager
  5. Execute any ad hoc duties as assigned

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR PhD with 1 year of relevant experience
  • Current US Government Secret level security clearance
  • Experience leading project assignments
  • Experience with the integrated team including but not limited to the program manager, functional managers, and customers
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including: Word, Power Point, and Excel.

Nice to have

  • US Government Top Secret clearance
  • PMP Certification(s)
  • Full Cycle experience working IT infrastructure projects
  • Agile and/or Scrum Certification

What the JD emphasized
