What you'd actually do

  1. Leads and sets direction for the architectural design and development of highly complex electronic parts, components, board layout and board planning, and mechanical systems, ensuring cutting-edge reliability, performance, and manufacturability.
  2. Establishes and drives long-term mechanical design strategies for next-generation server architectures, defining cooling methodologies and mechanical frameworks from concept to production.
  3. Contributes to the technical vision and sets best practices for the use of advanced computer-aided design (CAD) tools (e.g., ProE, SolidWorks), mentoring cross-functional teams in refining innovative mechanical solutions.
  4. Defines and oversees the mechanical design of electronics enclosures and embedded systems, ensuring alignment with overarching hardware strategies and system-level requirements.
  5. Establishes best practices and frameworks for mechanical reliability assessments and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) proactively addressing challenges.
