This role is focused on driving growth and customer success for Adobe's digital experiences in Japan, specifically through optimizing user journeys, promotional strategies, and customer retention across web and mobile platforms. The Principal Mobile GTM will lead the mobile app store business, create frameworks for optimizing mobile web journeys, and translate insights into data-driven recommendations to influence product decisions and drive ARR growth.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the mobile app store business in Japan, using existing Adobe frameworks and creating new ones as needed.
  2. Lead recurring Mobile RTB (run-the-business) meetings to assess current performance and future outlook, shape strategic POVs, and drive aligned actions working with cross-functional teams that support growth and risk mitigation.
  3. Create and run a framework for optimizing mobile web journeys to the app stores or multi-surface, multi-journey-step mobile web experiences.
  4. Develop deep end-to-end understanding of Japan’s key user journeys across Mobile, Social, and Web products. Translate insights into prioritized, data-driven growth recommendations and clearly communicate them to leadership to drive alignment and execution.
  5. Diagnose the health of a product discovery, initial use, and engagement, from exploration through to activation and repeat use, to find opportunities and deliver value to customers on an ongoing basis.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of commerce, software, management consulting, or business analytics experience.
  • Strong experience in financial, business, and marketing analytics, including mobile and web, with a proven ability to synthesize data to generate clear and concise POVs and recommend actions.
  • Experience creating and leading cross-functional teams across marketing, web, product management, product marketing, data analytics, and agency partners to execute initiatives that drive business impact.
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, adapting quickly to change and shifting priorities.
  • Business-level or expert proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Branch, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Power BI); familiarity with web and mobile engagement solutions is a plus.
  • Business-level Japanese and advanced English proficiency required for effective communication with global peers and stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience or hands-on exposure across mobile growth disciplines—including user acquisition, engagement, and testing and optimization—is a plus.
  • MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
