Autodesk is seeking a Principal Network DevOps Engineer to enhance their global network and cloud infrastructure. This role involves defining and driving the technical vision for cloud networking, automation, and infrastructure engineering strategy. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and automating network solutions using Python and Infrastructure-as-Code, managing SASE solutions, and evaluating/implementing AI-assisted and Agentic AI for network operations, observability, and automation. The ideal candidate has strong networking fundamentals, DevOps practices, cloud architecture expertise, and technical leadership, with experience in Python, Terraform, AWS, and Azure networking.

What you'd actually do

  1. Evaluate and implement AI-assisted and Agentic AI solutions to improve network operations, observability, troubleshooting, and automation
  2. Design, develop, and maintain network automation solutions using Python, Infrastructure-as-Code, and CI/CD methodologies
  3. Define and drive the technical vision, roadmap, and architecture for Autodesk’s global network and cloud connectivity platforms
  4. Work on implementation of Autodesk’s Global Networking backbone strategic infrastructure initiatives
  5. Partner with Cloud Engineering, SRE, Platform Engineering, and Security teams to deliver scalable cloud networking solutions
