This role is for a Property & Asset Management Analyst at Northrop Grumman, focusing on managing government and company assets at supplier locations in compliance with regulations like FAR and DFARS. What you'd actually do

  1. Oversee, manage and analyze activities associated with asset business systems to ensure company, customer and US Government property located at subcontractors are managed in accordance with applicable regulations and policies to achieve best value and operational excellence
  2. Conduct internal and external property assessments and analyze results for financial and operational purposes
  3. Provide guidance on subcontracts, contracts, and regulations pertaining to property life-cycle management and contractual requirements.
  4. Prepare periodic and special purpose reports related to matters such as property and material reviews, physical inventory planning, contract accountable government furnished property (GFP), and other ad-hoc reports, as needed
  5. Conduct property surveillance reviews at supplier and subcontractor sites

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 or more years of experience in Government Property & Asset Management or similar, relevant experience OR a master’s degree with 3 years stated experience OR 9 years of stated experience in lieu of degree
  • Diverse knowledge of Government Property related contractual requirements, including FAR Part 45, FAR 52.245-1, and DFARS property management clauses.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel formulas, charts, pivot tables and PowerPoint
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Nice to have

  • Current NPMA Property Certification (CPPS, CPPA, CPPM)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA
