This role is for a Principal Partner Specialist at MongoDB, focusing on developing and executing strategic Cloud and System Integrator (SI) partner strategies in Australia. The primary responsibilities include recruiting and developing partner relationships, generating sales pipeline, working with the enterprise sales team to close business, and leading partner engagement to build their sales and delivery capabilities. The role requires extensive experience in quota-carrying sales through various partner types and a strong ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and execute strategic Cloud (i.e., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and SI Partner strategy across the Australia market, including Local SIs and/or Global SIs (i.e., EY, PwC, KPMG, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc.)
  2. Recruit and develop effective partner relationships, resulting in growth opportunities and mutual beneficial partnerships.
  3. Proactively prospect, identify, qualify and develop a sales pipeline through Cloud, Local or Global System Integrators and ISV Partners
  4. Work with our Enterprise Sales team to close business to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual bookings objectives
  5. Lead engagement of Cloud and strategic SI Partners to develop their sales, pre-sales and delivery capabilities in line with our strategy of amplifying partners with capabilities and certifications to deliver for their customers.
