Principal Platform Architect

ServiceNow ServiceNow · Enterprise · Staines, United Kingdom · Customer Outcomes

This Principal Platform Architect role at ServiceNow focuses on advising enterprise customers on leveraging the ServiceNow platform for digital transformation. The role involves shaping architectural strategy, defining governance, and influencing executive stakeholders to accelerate platform adoption and improve customer outcomes. While the role involves integrating AI into customer processes, it is not a hands-on AI/ML development role.

What you'd actually do

  1. Act as the senior platform authority across multiple, complex enterprise engagements.
  2. Own end-to-end platform architecture strategy, including instance strategy, governance models, integration patterns, and platform health at scale.
  3. Translate business strategy into multi-year architectural roadmaps aligned to enterprise transformation outcomes.
  4. Engage confidently with C-level and senior leadership, elevating discussions from implementation detail to strategic platform value and outcomes.
  5. Define and enforce architectural standards that reduce technical debt and enable sustainable growth.
