The Principal PMT will lead the product vision and strategy for personalized video advertising experiences within Amazon Ads, leveraging generative AI to enhance customer discovery and brand engagement. This role involves charting product direction, collaborating with partners, defining customer experiences, and influencing senior leadership.

What you'd actually do

  1. Chart and execute a course for delivering customized, differentiated shopping experiences through the use of video for different customers and pages
  2. Develop a strong collaboration with Amazon Stores partners for prioritization and execution of new product features, CX experiences and monetization strategies
  3. Obsess over your customers and work backwards to define tenets, customer experiences, long-term goals, focus areas and key success metrics.
  4. Develop and present working backwards documents and product plans
  5. Influence senior leaders across Amazon by proactively communicating your vision, reporting plans and progress, and aligning with Amazon's core leadership principles

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
  • 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience technical product management

Nice to have

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
  • Experience working on shopper facing products
  • Experience with video driven shopper experiences
