Principal Procurement Specialist for Raytheon's Naval Power Closed In Weapons Systems Team, responsible for managing procurements of multiple technologies. Key duties include reviewing SOWs, creating agreements, analyzing proposals, selecting suppliers, negotiating terms, monitoring supplier performance, and managing purchase orders from creation to delivery. Requires experience with purchase order management, negotiations, and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or other heavily regulated industries. U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

What you'd actually do

  1. Review of SOW’s (Statements of Work) and In-house estimates
  2. Creating PIA/NDA’s (Proprietary Information Agreement/ Non-Disclosure Agreement)
  3. Obtaining Proposal/Quotation activities from prospective subcontractors and employing various techniques to analyze cost/price, technical capability, and financial viability.
  4. Evaluating, identifying, and selecting suppliers and business partners.
  5. Supplier negotiations (price, schedules, terms & conditions)

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree
  • Purchase order management
