Principal Product Designer focused on crafting user experiences for AI-powered products within Expedia Group. What you'd actually do

  1. Translate strategic vision into high-impact visual stories and prototypes that clarify, align, and accelerate the future of AI-driven travel experiences across Expedia Group.
  2. Lead through making, applying exceptional UI and visual design craft alongside high‑fidelity prototyping to explore, validate, and communicate concepts.
  3. Advance next‑generation interfaces by envisioning new paradigms for conversational, multimodal, and adaptive AI-driven experiences.
  4. Design for agentic and mixed‑initiative interactions, creating visually intuitive feedback mechanisms that support uncertain or probabilistic system states.
  5. Evolve Expedia’s design system to support AI‑native patterns, adaptive layouts, and intelligent interface behaviors.

Skills

Required

  • Exceptional visual and UI design craft, including mastery of layout, typography, hierarchy, color, and component‑level refinement.
  • Ability to translate complex AI behaviors into clear, elegant, and expressive interface patterns.
  • Expertise in developing high‑fidelity prototypes that illustrate nuanced interaction states and polished interface execution.
