Principal Product Designer for Roblox's Social team, focusing on player socialization, communication, and connection within immersive experiences. This role involves end-to-end ownership from discovery to iteration, collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Research, Data Science, and Trust & Safety to create expressive, intuitive, and safe social experiences for a global audience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead design for a core area of Roblox Social, creating experiences that help users connect and communicate meaningfully
  2. Own end-to-end feature design: research synthesis, concept exploration, prototyping, interaction design, visual polish, and final specs
  3. Translate complex requirements (including safety and policy constraints) into clear, user-centered product solutions
  4. Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape roadmaps, define requirements, and drive decisions through tradeoffs
  5. Collaborate with Research and Data Science to define success metrics, learn from experiments, and iterate based on insights
