Principal Product Manager, Technical (PMT) for Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products and Brands) to re-imagine advertising using generative AI. The role focuses on building personalized, context-aware ad experiences across various Amazon surfaces to drive monetization, working with business stakeholders, scientists, and engineers. Key responsibilities include charting product direction, developing customer experiences, and influencing senior leaders.

What you'd actually do

  1. Chart and execute a course for delivering customized, differentiated shopping experiences in different context (e.g., product detail pages, homepage) and for different customer cohorts
  2. Develop a strong collaboration with Amazon Stores partners for prioritization and execution of new product features, CX experiences and monetization strategies
  3. Obsess over your customers and work backwards to define tenets, customer experiences, long-term goals, focus areas and key success metrics.
  4. Develop and present working backwards documents and product plans
  5. Influence senior leaders across Amazon by proactively communicating your vision, reporting plans and progress, and aligning with Amazon's core leadership principles

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
  • 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience technical product management

Nice to have

  • Master's degree or above in computer science or other related discipline
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proven track record of complex and creative problem-solving, and the desire to create and build new businesses
