Principal Product Manager to define the next generation of engineering systems for Microsoft's Chromium-based products (Edge, WebView2, Copilot app), focusing on AI-driven application workflows and AI-assisted coding to improve developer productivity and innovation at scale.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the end‑to‑end product strategy for the Chromium Engineering System, spanning build, test, validation, deployment, and developer workflows.
  2. Define how AI‑assisted coding, automated reasoning, and intelligent tooling integrate into the engineering lifecycle for both Edge and the Chromium Copilot app.
  3. Translate ambiguous engineering needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and measurable outcomes.
  4. Champion intuitive, efficient, and modern developer workflows across the Chromium stack.
  5. Define the metrics framework for engineering system health, developer productivity, build/test efficiency, and workflow quality.
