Principal Product Manager for Windows Platform and Development team, focusing on leading envisioning and building the developer ecosystem for Windows. Responsibilities include product leadership, strategy and execution, partnering with engineering and data science, defining roadmaps for intelligent search experiences, setting success metrics, and driving strategic partnerships. The role requires influencing technical architecture and long-term platform strategy.

What you'd actually do

  1. Product Leadership - Proven competency in product planning, organizational agility, cross-team and company collaboration, drive for results, and written and verbal communications.
  2. Strategy and Execution - Ability to think holistically and strategically. Leverage understanding of execution rhythm so that the team operates at a high level, knowledge is shared appropriately, and decision making happens at the right levels on the team. Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage complex technical products.
  3. Partner with Engineering, User Design and Research, Data science - Work closely with quad leadership to deliver the right experiences and take e2e accountable for business objectives & key results.
  4. Define and drive the vision and multi-year roadmap for seamless, intelligent search experiences across native and third-party surfaces.
  5. Define success metrics, track SLT-level KPIs, and lead initiatives that deliver measurable growth and customer impact.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience influencing technical architecture and aligning cross-functional teams on complex systems.
  • Deep experience in cross-functional environments and influencing outcomes across diverse teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Able to conduct insightful, multi-faceted conversations with senior product and technical decision makers inside and outside Microsoft.
  • Passion for building not just great products, but also great team culture— collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to balance big-picture vision with day-to-day execution.
  • Exceptional skills in influencing and aligning diverse stakeholders across engineering, design, marketing, research, and business disciplines.
  • Conceptualize complex ideas quickly and convey those thoughts to others in a clear, effective and motivating manner.
  • Experienced collaborator able to work effectively across broad teams and influence stakeholders of all levels and of all disciplines across Microsoft.
  • Independently manage cross company partnerships, mergers and acquisitions.
