This role is for a Principal Product Manager at Microsoft Azure Core, focusing on defining and driving the product direction for capacity decision support systems that span AI and commercial cloud infrastructure. What you'd actually do

  1. Secure executive support for the company-wide initiatives needed to succeed, maintaining the highest levels of trust and integrity with all stakeholders.
  2. You will provide strategic help to cross-divisional teams as they work with Software and Hardware Engineering to design technical solutions. You will also work with teams as they identify risks and propose data-based mitigations.
  3. You’ll drive cross-divisional teams to define success criteria and provide strategic knowledge to help them understand return on investment. You’ll also oversee team collaboration and ensure alignment on product management and release.
  4. You will work with cross-divisional teams as they deliver on feature roadmap, track project schedules, develop staging and implementation, and hold teams accountable for leading governance programs.
  5. You will work with teams driving continuous improvements by using industry expertise to teach them to validate use cases and helping them partner with other departments to collect performance metrics. You’ll also work with teams that own customer support and ensure cross-divisional participation in direct customer engagements.
