Principal Product Manager for Microsoft Commerce team, focusing on AI-native shopping experiences and how Copilot can assist users. The role involves defining strategy, requirements, and driving execution across engineering, design, and partner teams to launch and iterate on AI-powered commerce products.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will influence others to drive business impact across the organization and track success criteria for multiple feature areas across divisions. You’ll also be an expert in identifying long-term investment opportunities and engaging partners to garner support for those feature areas.
  2. Translate business goals into strategy, user experience and technical requirements in close collaboration with Applied Science, Data Science, Engineering, UX and Product Marketing/Sales teams.
  3. You will define a feature set and facilitate senior-level usability reviews with customers. You’ll own the roadmap for multiple feature areas across divisions, and will collaborate with a partner team to build golden configurations and drive scenario walkthroughs.
  4. Enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-first, product development cycle.
  5. As an expert, you will partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses for complex technical needs in order to improve product development in multiple areas. You’ll also identify features to deprecate, manage customer communities, and build trust with targeted customers across sectors.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
  • 2+ years experience leading cross functional product teams across advertising, privacy, search, conversational AI, or generative AI
  • 6+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 5+ years experience with data analytics and experimentation tools with working knowledge of SQL and coding skills (Python, Javascript).
  • Depth in experimentation and measurement (A/B testing, causal inference, learning outcomes, cohort analysis).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing requirements and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment, fostering knowledge sharing and growth within the team.
