Product Manager for Twilio Messaging (RCS and SMS products). This role will define and own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Twilio's SMS and RCS APIs, driving innovation while simplifying the developer experience. The role involves leading the evolution of the messaging platform, launching new cross-channel APIs, and evolving legacy APIs at global scale. It requires working backwards from developers and enterprises to design intuitive, consistent APIs that power billions of customer interactions. The role also involves gathering market intelligence, analyzing usage patterns, synthesizing insights, partnering with engineering and GTM teams, driving experimentation through betas and A/B tests, and using data to identify growth opportunities and improve reliability. The role also includes mentoring and influencing teams across the organization.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Twilio’s SMS and RCS APIs, driving innovation while simplifying the developer experience.
  2. Lead the evolution of our messaging platform, including launching new cross-channel APIs and evolving our legacy APIs at global scale.
  3. Work backwards from developers and enterprises to design intuitive, consistent APIs that power billions of customer interactions
  4. Gather market intelligence, analyze usage patterns, and synthesize insights from prototypes to innovate
  5. Partner closely with engineering, design, GTM, and partner teams to scope, build, and launch capabilities

What the JD emphasized
