Principal Product Manager for Microsoft AI's Trust and Safety team, focusing on AI monetization platforms. The role involves building AI-powered products to ensure safety and trustworthiness in advertising, addressing emerging threats like synthetic media and agentic attacks. What you'd actually do

  1. Drive building world-class AI experiences and platforms that will allow Microsoft AI to keep consumers safe and deliver sustainable business growth.
  2. Own a product area and be responsible for understanding user needs and behaviors, defining product requirements, managing end-to-end product development, launches and iterations.
  3. Find a path to get things done despite roadblocks to get your work into the hands of users quickly and iteratively.
  4. Translate business goals into strategy, user experience and technical requirements in close collaboration with UX, Data Science, Engineering, AI research, and Product Marketing teams.
  5. Define goals and performance indicators, set up and oversee experiments, measure success with data and research.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading products built on AI/ML systems from the ground up.
  • Background in driving multi-year strategic initiatives in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Demonstrated experience aligning with senior engineering stakeholders in high-stakes, fast-moving product spaces.

Nice to have

  • 4+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
  • 6+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 6+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
