Principal Product Manager, Content Product

Microsoft Microsoft · Big Tech · Mountain View, CA +2 · Product Management

Principal Product Manager to identify and build the next generation of content products and reusable intelligence systems, starting with personalized company and industry intelligence for enterprise information workers. The role involves bringing together user understanding, knowledge, content agents, ranking, and interactive experiences to help people understand what changed, why it matters, and what to do next. This is a category builder role for someone who can turn emerging AI capabilities into products.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the vision and strategy for new content intelligence products, identifying unmet customer needs and technology shifts that can define our next product categories.
  2. Build enterprise content intelligence as the first product focus, including personalized company and industry briefings, watchlists, and experiences that explain what changed, why it matters, and what a user can do next.
  3. Translate capabilities across user understanding, knowledge graphs, content agents, ranking, quality, and interactive components into coherent, reusable product systems that can serve multiple Microsoft canvases.
  4. Lead rapid customer discovery, prototyping, and experimentation to find product-market fit, separate durable value from novelty, and earn the right to scale.
  5. Partner deeply with design, engineering, applied science, editorial, and canvas product teams to integrate new products into Edge, Windows, MSN, and Copilot without duplicating existing ownership.
