Principal Product Manager to lead the Originations Core platform within the Borrow business unit at SoFi. This role involves defining and driving the strategy, roadmap, and execution for systems and experiences related to loan discovery, application, and management. The PM will own foundational platform capabilities and member-facing experiences, including the Borrow experience across web and mobile, UI systems, application funnel entry points, and core originations infrastructure like application data models and credit decisioning. The role requires strong systems thinking, partnership with engineering, and a data-driven approach to improve conversion, efficiency, and member experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for Originations Core, spanning platform capabilities and member-facing experiences
  2. Own and evolve the Borrow experience across web and mobile, including application entry points, flows, and supporting UI systems
  3. Lead the development of reusable UI components and shared capabilities that enable consistency and velocity across multiple product teams
  4. Drive strategy and execution for core originations infrastructure, including application data models and credit decisioning systems
  5. Act as the central product partner for cross-functional domains such as servicing, collections, and settlements, ensuring seamless end-to-end member journeys

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of product management experience
  • Experience defining product strategy and driving execution across multiple teams or squads
