Principal Product Manager, Product Details Page

Expedia Expedia · Hospitality · London, United Kingdom

Expedia is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of next-generation AI-enhanced Product Details Pages. This role involves defining long-term product strategy, driving discovery and delivery of new PDP capabilities, translating customer problems into product requirements, and using data and experimentation to prioritize work. The PM will partner with various teams to ensure the PDP is performant and adaptable, and will incorporate AI-driven systems to improve relevance and personalization. The role requires extensive experience in product management for consumer-facing digital products, a proven track record of defining and executing product strategy, and familiarity with applying AI/ML concepts to real-world products.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and drive the long-term product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the Product Details Page experience, aligning outcomes to Expedia Group’s customer, brand, partner, and business objectives. You will set and align a multi-year, multi-brand PDP platform vision and strategic roadmap, influencing strategy beyond your immediate team.
  2. Lead end-to-end product discovery and delivery for new PDP platform capabilities, features, and optimizations, including opportunity assessment, hypothesis formation, experimentation, and iterative refinement based on qualitative and quantitative insights.
  3. Translate customer problems and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and success metrics, collaborating closely with design, engineering, data science, and other cross-functional teams to ship high-quality solutions. You will “force simplicity” in complex, cross-team decision spaces, using clear narratives and artefacts to align stakeholders.
  4. Use data, experimentation frameworks, and rigorous A/B testing to prioritize work, validate impact, and make trade-off decisions across multiple PDP surfaces, platforms, and customer journeys.
  5. Incorporate AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows into PDP capabilities where grounded in business value, and safely integrate and operate AI/ML‑enabled solutions that improve relevance, personalization, and overall customer outcomes.
