The Principal Product Manager - Tech will define the product experience for Talent Evaluation at Amazon, leading the transformation of disconnected talent tools into a unified, AI-native talent management platform. This role involves defining the multi-year product vision and roadmap, owning the customer experience strategy, designing flexible solutions, and leading product strategy for AI-native capabilities like AI-driven talent insights, generative AI for evaluations, and intelligent workflow automation. The role requires coordinating across multiple engineering and product teams, influencing senior leadership, and building cross-organizational partnerships to deliver a cohesive platform.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and drive the multi-year product vision and roadmap for ITDS's unified talent evaluation solution
  2. Own the end-to-end customer experience strategy, working backwards from what corporate Amazonians need to grow, develop, and be recognized
  3. Design solutions that are flexible and configurable to meet the diverse needs of business line teams across Amazon
  4. Lead product strategy for AI-native capabilities (e.g., AI-driven talent insights, generative AI for evaluations, intelligent workflow automation)
  5. Coordinate across 6 engineering teams and 6 product domains to drive shared infrastructure adoption and a cohesive platform architecture

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of end to end product delivery experience
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience operating in large, matrixed organizations with multiple engineering teams and senior stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI/ML technologies
  • Experience with talent management, HR technology, or people systems
  • Deep familiarity with platform thinking — shared services, APIs, extensibility, and multi-tenant architectures
