Principal Product Manager Technical, Agentic Commerce Experiences

Amazon Amazon · Big Tech · Seattle, WA · Project/Program/Product Management--Technical

Principal Product Manager Technical (PMT) to own the vision, strategy, and execution for AI-powered agentic commerce experiences. This role focuses on an AI-native shopping surface that is early in finding product-market fit, driving revenue at scale, and has significant growth potential through new formats and international expansion. The PMT will partner closely with engineering, applied science, and design to ship rapidly, define the roadmap, drive monetization strategy, and influence AI model behavior for personalization and ranking. The role requires strong product intuition, high-judgment decision-making with incomplete data, and a preference for shipping over process, with direct executive visibility.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for an AI-native shopping surface, from customer problem definition through launch and iteration.
  2. Make high-judgment prioritization decisions that balance customer experience, revenue growth, and technical feasibility.
  3. Drive monetization strategy in partnership with advertising and merchant teams, ensuring the product delivers both customer value and meaningful business results without compromising the experience.
  4. Define success metrics, run experiments, and use data to make decisions about what to build, scale, or kill.
  5. Partner with applied scientists and engineers to push the boundaries of what AI can do for shopping — influencing model behavior, ranking, and personalization through product requirements rather than just consuming what science delivers.
