Key job responsibilities As a Principal Product Manager - Technical in Alexa Connections, you will bring AI-Native product building skills to accelerate value for our customers. You will be responsible strategizing and building Alexa communications and real time multi-modal AI experiences. This role is highly cross-functional — you will work closely with engineering, science, design, business intelligence, operations, finance and executive teams to bring features to market and develop and grow business opportunities for Amazon. You will drive products strategies with our industry partners to launch multiple 0-1 product lines. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple products and applications that customers love.
About the team Alexa Connections is a highly distributed team across six Amazon approved sites. We have industry experts in real time communications, computer vision, media processing, consumer facing UX. We imbibe Amazon's Leadership Principles, hold each other accountable and have lots of fun while building a product billions of our users love. You will constantly help us foster a culture where everyone can do their best work.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience technical product management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
