The Principal Product Manager-Technical for Search Marketing at Amazon will lead the development and execution of paid and organic digital marketing strategies, focusing on driving web traffic and maximizing channel revenue. This role involves deep analysis of search marketing channels (SEO/SEM), running A/B experiments, and translating insights into product proposals and optimizations. The position requires a strong analytical and technical mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to influence stakeholders. The team builds AI-powered systems to automate processes at scale, optimizing customer acquisition through search-based experiences.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop deep search channel insights and understanding in partnership with retail teams, other marketing channel teams, and international stakeholders
  2. Translate channel insights into test plans, product/feature proposals, and opportunities for optimization
  3. Define and run tests, including A/B experiments to test new vendor features and/or inform new product development using your judgement across relative priorities
  4. Conduct in-depth analyses to refine our understanding of the search space and uncover additional optimization opportunities
  5. Translate analytical findings into actionable insights and concise business actions and recommendations

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of end to end product delivery experience
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience technical product management
  • Experience influencing senior leaders/stakeholders
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines
