Principal Technical Product Manager for advanced robotics systems, focusing on physical AI, control systems, and mechanical design. The role involves architecting and driving automation solutions, evaluating technical tradeoffs, and defining product strategy for robotic manipulation, locomotion, and human-robot interaction. Requires deep robotics engineering expertise, including motion planning, control systems, computer vision, and machine learning, with an understanding of ROS, real-time OS, and embedded systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the Voice of the Customer for the product line throughout its life cycle from initial concept creation to launch, and subsequent support of the product.
  2. Identify new product opportunities by evaluating the business needs and understanding customer pain points and value drivers
  3. Write business and product requirements documents and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business, design and development teams.
  4. Participate as a member of the core team during development, including research, requirements definition, metrics analysis, implementation, testing, and launch efforts.
  5. Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences.
