What you'd actually do

  1. Define the vision for your product space and outline a roadmap that has the potential to significantly impact Amazon’s business and customer experience.
  2. Gain support for your strategy and roadmap from stakeholders by writing narratives and influencing senior leadership, peers and partner teams.
  3. Partner with scientists, engineers and UX designers to translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of customer-facing experiences at scale.
  4. Drive data-informed decisions through customer research, behavior analysis, and performance metrics
  5. Manage prioritization and trade-offs for speed to market, performance, and features.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience technical product management
  • Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority

Nice to have

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
  • 7+ years of end to end product delivery experience
  • Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.
  • Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.
