This role is for a Principal Product Marketing Manager within Microsoft AI (MAI) Content. The primary focus is on articulating the value proposition of AI-powered content experiences to various stakeholders including publishers, sales teams, and customers. Responsibilities include owning the product narrative, defining AI principles and guardrails, shaping communication channels, and partnering with Sales for revenue growth. While the role deals with AI-generated content and AI principles, it is a product marketing function, not a direct AI/ML development or research role.

Skills

Required

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 4+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Strategy, or adjacent roles at scale.
  • Experience working on platforms, ecosystems, or AI‑driven products where behavior and outcomes are not always deterministic.
  • Proven ability to translate complex product or technical concepts into clear, persuasive narratives for senior stakeholders.
  • Solid judgment around trust, quality, and external commitments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with publishers, creators, or advertising‑adjacent ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML‑driven products, product evaluation, or policy‑adjacent constraints.
  • History of partnering closely with Sales on high‑stakes positioning and revenue narratives.
