Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements. This role involves Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks, including establishing work breakdown structures, maintaining performance baselines, estimating costs to complete, and supporting reporting requirements. The analyst will also be involved in budget baselining, funding analysis, cost risk assessment, and preparing government cost performance reports. The position requires experience with EVMS and government cost reporting, a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience, and an active U.S. Government clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Establishment of Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled, assessment and maintenance of objective performance criteria, maintenance and justifications of estimates to complete, and support to internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis.
  2. As well as, budget baseline, funding analysis, cost risk analysis/assessment and visibility reports, preparation of government cost performance reports and preparation and/or review of performance measurement variance analysis as well as development and analysis of estimates to complete.
  3. support the development of budget baselines and maintain cost/schedule integration
  4. support preparation of budgets, schedules, and ETC/EAC
  5. perform and/or assist in financial performance analyses and visibility reporting

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, supply chain, logistics and/or industry related field OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, supply chain, logistics and/or industry related field
  • Must have an active U.S. Government clearance or higher
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period
  • Must have financial forecasting experience with EVMS and government cost reporting
  • Ability to use financial systems
  • basic understanding of EVMS principles
  • hands on cost performance reporting/analysis skills

Nice to have

  • Understanding of Business Systems (SAP/Cobra)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
