Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (Level 3) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements. This role involves extensive Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks, including establishing work breakdown structures, maintaining performance baselines, managing estimates to complete, and supporting reporting requirements. The analyst will also perform budget baselines, funding analysis, cost risk analysis, and prepare government cost performance reports. Experience with financial systems, EVMS principles, and cost performance reporting/analysis is required. The role requires a Top Secret clearance and experience in government contracting with EVM.

What you'd actually do

  1. Establishment of Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled, assessment and maintenance of objective performance criteria, maintenance and justifications of estimates to complete, and support to internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis.
  2. As well as, budget baseline, funding analysis, cost risk analysis/assessment and visibility reports, preparation of government cost performance reports and preparation and/or review of performance measurement variance analysis as well as development and analysis of estimates to complete.
  3. Ability to use financial systems, to learn basic understanding of EVMS principles and hands on cost performance reporting/analysis skills
  4. Develop and implement solutions of moderate scope and complexity;
  5. Analyze variances/trends and develop new methods and process techniques; Work under very general supervision while completing numerous assignments per schedule and elevating potential issues to ensure proper management focus;

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or industry related field OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or industry related field.
  • DoD Top Secret clearance or higher
  • Experience in Government Contracting with Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Financial forecasting experience with EVMS or government cost reporting.

  • Understanding of Business Systems (SAP/Cobra)
