This role is for a Principal Program Cost Control Analyst at Northrop Grumman, focusing on financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control for government contracts. It requires a Top Secret security clearance and experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).

What you'd actually do

  1. Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
  2. Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support
  3. Perform analysis and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
  4. Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience with financial analysis or reporting
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
  • Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access

Nice to have

  • Active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration
