Principal Program Financial Analyst *onsite*

This role is for a Principal Program Financial Analyst at RTX, supporting Advanced Hypersonic Weapons. The analyst will provide financial oversight, manage EVM and EAC for complex contracts, and partner with program leadership. Requires a Bachelor's degree in finance or related field, 5 years of experience, and an active DoD Secret security clearance. Experience with EVMS and FP&A is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support of development cost-plus contractual EVM contracts.
  2. Providing critical financial oversight and guidance for the contracts they maintain.
  3. Partnership with Program Management and cross functional leads to support program execution.
  4. Support of all program financial aspects including monthly financial performance reporting.
  5. Program controls such as developing EACs and execution of EVM processes.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
  • 5 years prior relevant experience
  • Experience with computer/Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience in organizing, preparing, and presenting briefings to management and peers
  • Experience interpreting and analyzing financial data
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance

  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines
  • Ability to drive change and influence beyond authority level
  • Experience and understanding of the program business role, APEX, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and/or experience with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) concepts
