What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet program milestones and customer expectations, with the opportunity to step in to leadership roles and guide the program team
  2. Work directly with customers to understand requirements and design drivers
  3. Coordinate a multi‑disciplinary strategy for design, optimization, and analysis to meet mission requirements
  4. Design SRM assemblies / components (such as cases, nozzles, and propellant grains) with a focus on safety and program requirements
  5. Complete high‑level performance and sizing calculations on SRM components and assemblies
