Seeking a Principal Quantum Applications Architect to develop applications for fault-tolerant quantum computers, design algorithms, and work with hybrid quantum-classical workflows. Requires a doctorate or master's degree with significant experience in relevant fields and programming.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work at the cutting-edge of quantum computing, designing algorithms and applications for fault-tolerant quantum computers.
  2. Develop and apply advanced toolsets for modeling quantum applications on a variety of hardware architectures, determining the quantum resources needed to execute them.
  3. Develop and apply new techniques for application- and architecture-aware quantum circuit compilation and optimization.
  4. Team with world-class engineers, researchers, architects, and leaders, contributing to your career growth.
  5. Drive cross-group collaboration within Microsoft Quantum's qubit modeling, quantum error correction, and quantum applications teams.

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
