Principal RF Design Engineer responsible for the design and development of transmitters, receivers, or exciters, and the design and optimization of RF circuits. This role involves working with interdisciplinary teams, schematic capture, RF routing, and providing technical support during production transitions. Requires a STEM degree, significant RF/Microwave experience, proficiency with electromagnetic simulation and analytical tools, and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and development of transmitters, receivers, or exciters.
  2. Design and optimization of RF circuits – either chains of components (receiver, exciter, etc.) or individual parts (filters, limiters, couplers, etc.).
  3. Working with interdisciplinary teams – power, digital, mechanical, etc.
  4. Schematic capture and RF routing.
  5. Technical support during the transition to production and support to production activities.
