This role is for a Principal Sales Specialist focused on Analytics within the Financial Services Industry (FSI). The primary responsibility is to drive revenue and market share by helping customers leverage AWS analytics and AI/ML services to achieve business success. The role involves understanding customer needs, aligning AWS solutions, educating customers on capabilities, and managing the sales process from evaluation to business case construction. It requires a blend of strategic sales leadership, technical acumen, and business understanding, with collaboration across various AWS teams and partners.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory.
  2. Meet or exceed annual revenue targets.
  3. Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
  4. Develop working backwards analytics visions including business case and financial justification, potentially gleaned from earnings reports.
  5. Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS analytics services.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
  • 10+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
  • Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting
  • 5+ years of technology sales experience

  • Experience in payments or e-commerce
