Systems Engineer role focused on requirements development, test case development, and verification/validation of system requirements for defense projects. Requires experience with IBM Rational DOORS and managing technical baselines. Involves working with customers, presenting capabilities, and leading Agile teams to ensure designs meet requirements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work with a broad customer base to identify unique requirements, flow the requirements into design documentation, and work with a diverse team to build and test those requirements.
  2. Present to customers on the capabilities of current products, performance analyses, design information, and requirements verification methods.
  3. Generate, review, and manage multiple requirements sets that cover all aspects of both performance and nonperformance including mechanical interfaces, electrical interfaces, data requirements, environmental requirements, and reliability.
  4. Lead an Agile team to ensure the designs are sufficient to meet the system requirements.
  5. Work with various Agile teams to ensure all requirements are verified through inspection, analysis, demonstration, or test often by providing test and data reduction scripts.
