This role is for a Principal Software Engineering Manager at Microsoft, focused on building the foundational security platform for AI agents. What you'd actually do

  1. Work with data science team to train machine learning models for threat detection and unified risk model.
  2. Lead the definition of requirements, KPIs, priorities and planning of engineering deliverables.
  3. Lead the design and implementation of client and services for extremely high scale, throughput, durability, and low latency.
  4. Mentor and grow the energetic, diverse, and driven junior team members.
  5. Build AI agent to automatically detect system vulnerability and simulate real attacks.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience as people manager to lead an engineering team.

Nice to have

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Experience in machine learning, deep learning and GenAI.
  • Experience building large-scale, distributed platforms.
