Principal Solutions Architect - GPU Cloud Network Infrastructure

NVIDIA NVIDIA · Semiconductors · Santa Clara, CA +3 · Remote

This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing high-performance network interconnect architectures for cloud gaming platforms, emphasizing low-latency, high-throughput, and globally distributed networking solutions. The Principal Solutions Architect will collaborate with ISPs, backbone providers, and CDN/edge partners to ensure optimal network performance, security, and reliability for real-time game streaming.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and operate end-to-end network interconnect architectures for cloud gaming platforms by driving engagement with various tiers of ISPs to establish the optimal low latency packet routing paths for latency-sensitive gaming traffic.
  2. Drive engagement with backbone providers, IXPs, and CDN/edge partners for cost optimized and relevant IP-transit and peering networks.
  3. Focus on data center interconnect for multi regional edge data centers.
  4. Translate business requirements for the product into scalable technical architectures.
  5. Design traffic engineering solutions (QoS, load balancing, congestion control) involving capacity planning and scale testing.
