This role is for a Principal Specialist, Material Program Management at RTX, focusing on managing Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) activities for the Naval Power Mission Area. Skills

Required

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams

Nice to have

  • EVMS certification
  • Experience managing suppliers or projects
  • Lead program management efforts, address issues, and resolve conflicts
  • Financial knowledge, the mechanics of strong supplier negotiations, and how to influence an acceptance in execution of cost reduction opportunities
  • Experience in desktop computing tools (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Projects)
