Principal Specialist, Procurement role focused on managing medium and high complexity Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) and Printed Wire Boards (PWB) procurements for Raytheon Technologies. This role involves supplier interaction, RFI/RFQ development, PO preparation and management, and agreement execution. It requires a bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree and 3 years of experience. U.S. citizenship is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leading Supplier interaction and collaboration with the Raytheon Program Teams to manage a variety of procurements including but not limited to build-to-print, performance specifications, Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs), for medium/high complexity CCA & PWB commodities.
  2. Selecting qualified suppliers and seeking alternate suppliers (when applicable)
  3. Developing and managing RFI and RFQs
  4. Preparing POs and PO documentation in accordance with company directives and Raytheon work instructions. Post-award management of POs in accordance with company directives and Raytheon work instructions
  5. Managing Suppliers to meet Program requirements with the desired quality and delivery.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship
  • U.S. Person status or eligibility for export authorizations

Nice to have

  • Government procurement experience
  • SAP experience
  • Ability to analyze Cost and Pricing data and determine proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)
  • Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
  • Ability to understand technical requirements for procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) review
  • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal internal customers.
