This role is for a Principal / Sr. Principal Contract Administrator at Northrop Grumman, supporting the Integrate Battle Command System (IBCS) Operating Unit. The position involves managing a high-volume, fast-paced portfolio of agreements with U.S. DoD and foreign customers, requiring strong communication, risk identification, negotiation, and collaboration skills. The role supports contract execution from preparation and negotiation through to termination, acting as a key business advisor to program managers. A Secret Clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prioritize proposal activities and working on multiple tasks simultaneously
  2. Identify contractual risks and mitigate with appropriate contract provisions
  3. Serve as key business advisor to the program managers on contractual and operational matters
  4. Oversees all phases of the contract administration process, from initial preparation and negotiation through execution, changes or extensions, and termination.
  5. Plan and execute successful contract negotiations of a complex nature and achieving targeted profit rates, favorable terms and conditions on both contracts and other agreements required to assist in mitigating risk and meeting overall financial goals
