This role is for a Control Account Project Manager supporting systems at Northrop Grumman. The primary responsibilities include establishing budgetary baselines, managing and reporting earned value metrics, forecasting labor, managing integrated master schedules, assessing project risks, preparing contract data requirements, and supporting proposal activities. The role requires experience with cost plus and firm fixed price contracts, earned value management, Agile methodologies, and Microsoft Project. A Secret security clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Establish budgetary baselines for Engineering functions with the DARC program through Control Account Management (CAM) best practices
  2. Manage, track and report earned value metrics
  3. Support program integrated baseline reviews
  4. Work closely with engineering and program function leaders to forecast labor
  5. Work closely with engineering and program functions leaders to accurately manage integrated master schedules

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant experience (depending on Principal/Sr. Principal)
  • Experience with cost plus and firm fixed price contract vehicles
  • Material account earned value management experience
  • Labor account earned value management experience
  • Subcontract labor account earned value management experience
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and practices
  • Ability to develop and manage schedule tasks
  • Experience with integration of major subcontract schedules within prime integrated master schedule
  • Ability to use Microsoft Project
  • Experience creating Basis of Estimates and Proposals
