This role focuses on industrial engineering operations management, analyzing and optimizing lead times, queue times, and throughput. It involves building models for product flow, developing scheduling tools, and creating performance visuals using Power BI and data systems. The role also guides digital transformation efforts and works with IT, ERP, business analytics, and data science teams to improve manufacturing processes and shop floor performance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Analyzes lead times, queue times, work-in-process, cycle times, and throughput to meet customer demand most effectively and efficiently Power BI and data systems to develop performance visuals include: a relevant degree, experience with Power BI, data literacy (ETL, SQL, data modeling), ability to create and share dashboards, and strong communication skills for presenting actionable insights.
  2. Builds scalable and sustainable models to optimize product flow, while incorporating cost, schedule, and resource constraints
  3. Develops optimized scheduling tools and aligns SAP/MRP systems with an executable plan given various capacity constraints
  4. Incorporates complex interdependencies within a system to account for the interaction of multiple cost centers, programs, equipment, and tools
  5. Communicates requirements planning and systems framework with IT, ERP, business analytics, and data science teams

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's in STEM
  • 4 or more years of engineering experience in Manufacturing, Systems, Management, Mechanical, Process, or Data Analysis (for Level 3)
  • 8 or more years of engineering experience in Manufacturing, Systems, Management, Mechanical, Process, or Data Analysis (for Level 4)
  • Experience with Power BI and data systems
  • Data literacy (ETL, SQL, data modeling)
  • Ability to create and share dashboards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office excel, including macros, data mining, and pivot tables or data visualization software applications.
  • Experience in leading prior teams
  • Experience in Project Management
